Are you a Band 6 Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Northampton? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Title: Band 6 Pharmacist

Location: Northampton

NHS Hospital service

Duration: 4 months

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (30-minute lunch)

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 4 months from start (potential to extend)

Rate of Pay: £24 - £26 per hour (PAYE via Direct Engagement)

What You'll Be Doing

Join our clients' team as a Band 6 Pharmacist and support the hospital dispensary service. In this role, you will:

1. Screen and clinically check prescriptions for inpatient wards
2. Support the inpatient dispensary with daily operations
3. Ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications
4. Work collaboratively with other pharmacy staff and hospital teams
5. Help maintain service efficiency and patient safety

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A current and valid GPhC registration
2. Previous NHS hospital experience, ideally in a dispensary setting
3. Accuracy Checking qualification is desirable
4. Strong communication and organisational skills
5. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours & Contract Duration

Full-time locum position: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Contract length: 4 months

Strong possibility of extension depending on service needs
