Sanctuary Personnel seeks a Band 6 Nurse to join the Service Delivery Leads Team in North Wales. You will lead mobile phlebotomy units, manage a team of HCAs, and ensure clinics run smoothly with strict SOPs and PPE usage.

The role involves a flexible shift pattern and driving the mobile unit as needed. Ideal candidates have venepuncture/cannulation experience, nursing qualification, DBS clearance, and are ready for an induction day.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic Healthcare Assistants team in daily phlebotomy activities.
• Oversee clinic operations ensuring SOPs and health protocols are followed.
• Manage staff to ensure proper PPE use and adherence to procedures.
• Maintain stock levels and coordinate with Service Managers to resolve shortages.
• Act as primary contact for operational and clinical issues and ensure quick resolutions.
• Perform venepuncture on missed attempts and ensure successful sample collection.
• Conduct daily audits to maintain high clinical standards in mobile units.
• Provide leadership and support to the team.

Salary: Weekdays – £26 Per Hour Umbrella, Saturday – £29 Per Hour Umbrella, Sunday – £33 Per Hour Umbrella
Starting: End of November onwards

Dive into a rewarding role as a Band 6 Nurse within our Service Delivery Leads team, operating mobile units for blood collection from generous volunteers across the beautiful landscapes of North Wales. We’re seeking skilled professionals ready to lead from the front, working a flexible shift pattern of 3 to 7 days a week. Our adventure takes place Monday to Friday from 07:50 to 18:10, with sunny Sundays from 10:50 to 15:55, and Saturday shifts potentially rolling out soon. Starting from the end of November, become a vital part of a team making a difference one blood sample at a time.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates must be above 25 with a clean manual driving licence. Robust experience in venepuncture/cannulation is required, along with relevant certification and a DBS certificate. An induction day is mandatory, where you’ll be expected to drive the vehicle.
