Band 6 MRI Radiographer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 MRI Radiographer to join our Radiology team based at The London Clinic in central London. The role offers a competitive salary range, NHS Band 6 equivalent, dependent on skills and experience.

Job Profile

The MRI Radiographer will ensure the highest standard of patient care by performing scans and working closely with Band 7 radiographers.

Job Details

• Type: Full-time, permanent (37.5 hours/week)
• Shifts: Monday - Friday, with on-call rota; Saturday-Sunday
• Location: The London Clinic's Radiology Department, 20 Devinshire Place
• Salary: Competitive, NHS Band 6

Key Duties

• Perform patient scans, collaborating with Band 7 Radiographers
• Maintain high standards of patient care and monitor service quality
• Ensure safety checks prior to MRI procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and staff regarding examinations
• Assess patient abilities and needs, and position patients appropriately
• Assist in radiological procedures utilizing nursing skills and knowledge

Skills & Experience

Hold a DCR or BSc in Radiography and be HCPC registered.
