We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 MRI Radiographer to join our Radiology team at The London Clinic in central London. The role offers a competitive salary aligned with Band 6 NHS pay scales, dependent on skills and experience.

Job Profile

The MRI Radiographer will ensure the highest standards of patient care, performing scans and working closely with Band 7 radiographers.

Job Details

• Type: Full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week
• Shifts: Monday - Friday, with on-call rota; Saturday - Sunday
• Location: The London Clinic, Radiology Department, 20 Devinshire Place
• Salary: Competitive, Band 6 NHS equivalent

Key Duties

• Perform patient scans, collaborating with Band 7 Radiographers
• Maintain high standards of patient care and monitor service quality
• Ensure safety checks for MRI access are completed per departmental policy
• Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and staff regarding examinations
• Assess patients' physical, mental, and communication needs
• Position patients accurately, considering their abilities and limitations
• Assist in radiological procedures utilizing nursing skills and knowledge

Skills & Experience

Hold a DCR or BSc in Radiography and be HCPC registered.
