Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 6 Mortuary Technician in Leicester. The role involves post-mortem assistance, organ/tissue retrievals, body reconstruction, and patient administration.

You will liaise with pathologists, coroners, and funeral directors while upholding health and safety standards. Requirements include APT with RSPH, HCPC registration, and at least 12 months NHS mortuary experience, including paediatric post-mortems.

Qualifications

• APT Certification with RSPH required; higher Diploma desirable.
• At least 12 months NHS mortuary experience; minimum 3 months post-certification.
• Experience in a busy mortuary with coronial/forensic involvement including paediatric post-mortems.
• HCPC registration is required.
• Flexibility and good physical health; no known musculoskeletal issues.
• Driver's license preferable for commuting.

• You must be registered with HCPC.
• Flexibility and good physical health are essential, with no known musculoskeletal issues.
• Being a car driver is preferable to ensure easy commuting.
