Job Description:

CPL Healthcare UK are looking for Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurses in Kent. We are framework approved and supply to many NHS hospitals across London and the South East, placing you in a trust most suitable for you. This opportunity is suitable for those able to start ASAP.

Job requirements include:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Immediate availability
  • All shift patterns available

The successful candidate must have:

  • At least 6 months UK experience within an NHS Trust or Care Home
  • Up-to-date PMVA/Breakaway/MAPA training

Role: Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner

Team: Waltham Forest Open Dialogue Team (WFNL)

Address: Walthamstow

Working Hours: Flexible hours per week

Responsibilities: The post holder will be a Registered Practitioner with significant intermediate care experience at band 5, responsible for managing a caseload, working within the service under the line management of the Open Dialogue Team Manager. Ideally, they will have completed or be in training for a Diploma in Peer Supported Open Dialogue. They will work clinically within a Community Recovery Service, managing, supervising, and supporting peers, collaborating with other health and social professionals to ensure high standards of care.

Skills:

  • Build effective relationships with service users, carers, and social networks
  • Ensure understanding of patient conditions among relatives and carers
  • Participate in/facilitate Open Dialogue meetings and self-work
  • Inspire hope and support goal achievement
  • Communicate effectively, demonstrating the Trust’s values
  • Work collaboratively and supportively with the team and in research and policy development

Requirements include providing UK references, immunisation reports, and holding a valid NMC pin. Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
