Job summary

Pertemps Medical Professionals in Wrexham is seeking an experienced Band 6 Mammographer for a locum role. This post is dedicated to mammography with no rotation into general x-ray, performing high-quality examinations and stereotactic procedures. The successful HCPC registered radiographer will have NHS mammography experience and can start at short notice. The contract runs 3–6 months, four days per week, with direct engagement and hourly pay of £26–£27.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered radiographer with current registration.
• Experience in NHS mammography is required or highly desirable.
• Ability to perform stereotactic and breast imaging procedures.
• Start date ASAP is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Dedicated mammography role with no rotation into General X-Ray.
• Perform high-quality mammographic examinations.
• Undertake stereotactic procedures.
• Assist clinicians during ultrasound procedures.
• Follow Band 6 responsibilities and departmental standards.
