Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Band 6 General Radiographer for a locum assignment in Wrexham. Start ASAP, duration 3 weeks, with a 09:00 am – 05:00 pm shift and UK experience preferred.

You will perform X-ray and advanced imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. The role requires HCPC registration, a radiography degree, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team while supervising junior staff when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Degree in Radiography with HCPC registration.
• 1–2 years post-qualification UK clinical experience.
• Experience in general radiography within NHS or private sector.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray, CT and MRI imaging as required.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, obtain consent and ensure comfort.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely, contribute to image interpretation.
• Record keeping and documentation of imaging procedures, reports and consent forms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and supervise junior staff when needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
