Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Band 7 Mammographer to join our team in Dorset. The role offers a competitive rate (£42-£43/hour), with working hours 08:00–16:45, Monday to Friday, and immediate start for an experienced radiographer.

You will perform screening and diagnostic mammography, operate modern equipment, and work closely with radiologists to maintain high safety and care standards. A Degree in Diagnostic Radiography, HCPC registration, and a postgraduate Mammography qualification are

Qualifications

  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
  • Current HCPC registration.
  • Postgraduate Mammography qualification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' Mammographer experience.
  • Proficiency with advanced mammography equipment and techniques.
  • Strong radiation safety and breast imaging knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mammographic examinations including screening and diagnostic procedures.
  • Operate mammography equipment and ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of care.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to service improvement.
