Job summary

Pulse Healthcare in Gloucestershire is seeking a Band 7 Mammographer to join our radiology team. This ongoing position offers an hourly rate up to £31.00, with hours 08:00–17:00 and an immediate start for an experienced mammographer to deliver high-quality breast imaging in a busy clinical setting.

You will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, operate advanced equipment, and work closely with radiologists to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Postgraduate qualification in Mammography preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mammographer, ideally Band 7.
• Proficiency in using advanced mammography equipment and techniques.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and breast imaging protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Commitment to providing high standards of patient care and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammographic examinations including screening and diagnostic procedures.
• Operate mammography equipment, ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to service improvements in mammography.
