Job summary

Due to promotions and developments within the existing team, we are looking to recruit a Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse on Starfish Ward.

We are very proud of our teams and the great quality care we give to our children and families. We are equally proud of our record of developing our nursing teams from newly qualified nurses all the way to senior nurses.

We value our nurses and demonstrate that with a robust development plan regardless of grade. We provide high quality care for children with a variety of medical and surgical needs.

Main duties of the job

Starfish Ward is a 20 bedded acute children's ward with a two bed high dependency unit.

Our philosophy is that a well supported workforce who is motivated will give excellent care for the families in our area.
