Are you a passionate Hand Therapist looking to develop your career in a regional Plastic Surgery Service? Would you like to work as part of a committed and innovative multi-disciplinary team striving for excellence in patient rehabilitation?
Salisbury Plastic Surgery Hand Therapy team is seeking a motivated, skilled professional for a 14-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. We seek an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to work within our integrated OT/PT Hand Therapy team, providing conservative and post-operative care to a diverse patient group (adults and children) following trauma and acquired conditions.
The Hand Therapy team at Salisbury District Hospital manages a diverse caseload, collaborating closely with plastic surgery hand surgeons to treat trauma and elective cases, including regional referrals for specialist clinics such as Congenital Hand, Scar Management, Tendon Transfer, Spasticity, and Military Clinics. The team regularly participates in MDT meetings, teaching, clinical audits, and research.
Under the guidance of senior clinicians, you will be part of an innovative and supportive hand therapy team providing post-operative and conservative care for adults and children across various regional clinics. You will work to high standards, facilitating evidence-informed patient care. Support for training and clinical development will be provided to ensure best practice aligned with local and national guidelines.
