Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Band 6 Registered Podiatrist to join the North Podiatry Service on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The post is for 21 hours and 45 minutes per week, offering a flexible and supportive multidisciplinary environment across West Sussex.

You will deliver expert podiatric assessment, manage complex foot care, and work collaboratively with colleagues to improve patient outcomes and prevent hospital admissions.

Qualifications

• Qualified podiatrist registered with the HCPC.
• Experience at Band 6 level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert podiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients at moderate and high risk of foot complications.
• Manage patients with active ulceration and complex clinical needs.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient care.
• Help patients remain independent, mobile and active within their communities.
• Contribute to preventing avoidable hospital admissions and supporting timely discharge from acute settings.
• Participate in service development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

As part of one of the Trust's largest and most established clinical teams, you will play a key role in delivering specialist podiatric care to patients with complex needs. The North Podiatry Service operates across West Sussex, providing a broad range of opportunities to utilise and further enhance your clinical skills and experience.

You Will
