Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist for a locum position in Bedford, Bedfordshire. The role offers up to £26.00 per hour for a full-time schedule, Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00, starting 14 September 2026 and ending 18 December 2026.

You will perform duties across hospital laboratories, processing samples and reporting results. Requirements include a Biomedical Science degree, HCPC registration, NHS pathology experience, and the ability to work nights and weekends.

• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
• HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
• NHS hospital pathology experience.
• Biomedical Scientist experience.
• Ability to work all shifts including nights and weekends.
• Strong laboratory analytical skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Experience using Roche Cobas analysers.
• Experience using WinPath middleware.
• Acute hospital pathology laboratory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Biomedical Scientist duties within a hospital laboratory setting.
