Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join our 0-19 Service in Wiltshire. The role focuses on providing SLT support to pre-school and school-aged children within the community, within a forward-thinking multidisciplinary team.

Base location is Derby Court, Trowbridge. The post is fixed-term for 1 year, working Term Time Only with a 37.5 hour week, offering NHS AfC salary and generous development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with current registration.
• Experience with pre-school and school-aged children is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise caseloads of pre-school and school aged children in the community.
• Offer assessment and differential diagnosis using formal and informal tools and consulting with families.
• Produce reports reflecting clinical knowledge and summarising proposed care plans.
• Manage ongoing care per service clinical pathways.
