Job summary

HCRG Care Group is hiring a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to support school-aged pupils in mainstream schools and a SLIP setting, with some community early years work. The role base is at St Martins Hospital, BA2 5RP.

Flexible hours and a 12-month fixed-term contract are available for motivated applicants with HCPC registration. You will assess, diagnose and plan therapy, liaise with parents, schools and educational psychologists, and deliver evidence-based intervention.

Qualifications

• Essential: Speech and Language Therapy degree and HCPC registration.
• Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills with children.
• Ability to develop clear care plans and write clinical reports.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose communication difficulties in school children.
• Develop and implement speech and language therapy plans.
• Collaborate with schools, parents and specialists within SLIP and clinics.
• Produce timely reports and education/health care plans as required.
