We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join us working within an integrated team delivering care to People with Learning Disabilities.
The successful applicant will manage a varied caseload, both communication and dysphagia, with the support and guidance of senior clinicians. Multidisciplinary working and a patient centred approach is integral to meeting the patients’ needs and there is ample opportunity to be involved in service development. Previous experience in learning disabilities is not essential as professional development and clinical supervision are given high priority.
The successful applicant will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team based within our Community Hubs. Clinical support and supervision will be available from within the Speech and Language Therapy Team. The post holder will also receive managerial supervision and support from within the multidisciplinary team.
