Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the YDH Physiotherapy Team. The post holder will provide evidence-based physiotherapy in a 7-day service and support students, apprentices and Rehabilitation Assistants.

You will contribute to student development, advise families and MDT, and work across specialties while taking part in weekend shifts and on-call duties as rotations require.

Qualifications

• Provide evidence-based physiotherapy in a 7-day service.
• Provide clinical support, guidance and supervision for students, apprentices and Rehabilitation Assistants.
• Develop students and Rehabilitation Assistants alongside senior clinical staff.
• Provide advice regarding rehabilitation management to families, carers and MDT.
• Broad understanding of Physiotherapy specialties and wider departmental/professional issues.
• Partake in weekend working, respiratory on-call duties and extended hours as rotations require.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, dynamic and inspiring Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the YDH Physiotherapy Team, The post holder will:

• Provide evidence-based physiotherapy in the clinical areas as part of a 7-day service
• Provide clinical support, guidance and supervision for students, apprentices and Rehabilitation Assistants working within the Team
• Play an active role in the development of students and Rehabilitation Assistants, alongside senior clinical staff
• Provide advice regarding the rehabilitation management of patients to families, carers and the other members of the MDT
• Have a broad understanding of Physiotherapy specialities and of wider departmental and/or professional issues
• Partake in weekend working, respiratory on-call duties and other clinical extended hours services as rotations require
