Qualifications

• BTEC and NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent qualification.
• Registered as a practising pharmacy technician with the GPHC.
• Accuracy Checking Accreditation Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Accurately check prescriptions and support the medicines management team.
• Supervise the dispensary and wards daily workload.
• Assist in ward top-up visits timetabling and handling bank holidays.
• Counsel patients on use of their medicines.
• Maintain ward stock lists and secure storage, including temperature monitoring.
• Assist in ensuring timely dispensing for discharge and inpatient use.
