Job summary
Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 community nurse to join Newton Abbot Community Nurse team. You will deliver holistic nursing care in patients' homes within a large, supportive MDT environment, covering Community and Intermediate Care shifts across a broad locality including Bovey Tracey and Chudleigh.
Experience in the community is not essential as an established training and induction plan is provided.
Qualifications
- Band 5 nurse capable of delivering holistic nursing care.
- Compassionate approach to care with patients who are housebound.
- Training and induction plan in place for new team members.
Responsibilities
- Work flexibly between 7am and 7pm, 7 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Provide high-quality holistic nursing care in patients' homes.
- Cover Community nursing and Intermediate Care (nursing) as required.
