Pulse Healthcare is seeking skilled Accident & Emergency nurses to join the team at York Teaching Hospital NHS FT. This fast-paced role offers the chance to work with multidisciplinary teams and deliver patient-centred care.

PAYE rates are £17.00 per hour for days, £23.00 for nights and Saturdays, and £28.00 for Sundays and bank holidays; Umbrella rates are £20.00, £26.50, and £32.00 respectively. Commitment to high-quality clinical practice is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration.
• Minimum 6 months’ recent A&E experience within the last 12 months.
• Ability to provide two professional references covering the previous 3 years.
• DBS and Occupational Health clearance.
• Proof of right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a busy Accident & Emergency department.
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients with acute and emergency conditions.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, safe patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.
• Adhere to NMC guidelines, trust policies, and clinical governance standards.
• Respond calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations.
