Job Overview

Professional Development Administrative Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and innovative individual, with a passion for Clinical Education, to join the Professional Development team in a full-time substantive post. This position will focus on the administration of the clinical training workstream within the department.

The role involves planning and coordinating clinical training events and courses for professional development, including liaising with other professional agencies.

You will be responsible for all administrative functions related to the clinical training workstreams and training needs across the trust, as well as supervising Band 3 administrators and an apprenticeship administrator.

Main duties of the job
You Will
  • Work with Professional Development Managers and the Administration Manager to ensure clinical training programmes are delivered as required, including reviewing and updating course content.
  • Liaise with the Administration Manager and Education and Training Administrators to clarify needs around training delivery, such as venue size, equipment, session numbers, and contractual requirements.
  • Produce accessible information for diverse audiences, including emails, letters, workbooks, presentations, handouts, and spreadsheets.
  • Record, analyze, and monitor evaluations, attendance, and other data; produce reports as needed.
  • Assist in arranging and monitoring conference events, meetings, and appointments, including venue bookings.
  • Manage booking processes for clinical training to ensure effective utilization of spaces, promoting them via Virtual Campus, staff e-briefs, and distribution lists.
  • Coordinate and troubleshoot scheduling of training activities, liaising with managers to minimize cancellations.
