Job summary

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking staff to assist in providing an efficient mortuary service and to support the department in maintaining high standards of care for deceased patients in line with HTA requirements.

The role involves working under limited supervision, supporting senior team members, and offering appropriate guidance to clinicians, bereaved relatives and visitors about post-death care.

Job description

To assist providing an efficient mortuary service and ensure the department maintains a high standard of care for deceased patients, as well as maintain compliance with the Human Tissue Authority (HTA).

To perform under limited supervision routine activities within the department and assist senior team members.

To provide appropriate advice to clinicians, other visitors to the mortuary and bereaved relatives and friends in respect of care after death.
