Provide professional secretarial support to the Consultant Psychiatrist and NMHT team, organize workload, liaise with relevant services, and ensure accurate data entry into GP PAS systems like Care First, SystemOne, Emis, and Rio. Manage visitors, staff, patients, and GP calls courteously.
Handle correspondence, book patient appointments, attend MDT meetings, transcribe clinical letters, and act as a communication focal point for the medical team. Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, health professionals, GPs, social workers, service users, and external agencies.
