Responsibilities

  • Perform venepuncture and collect blood samples from volunteers.
  • Complete routine clinical observations including blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and waist measurements.
  • Record clinical information accurately using electronic systems.
  • Monitor participant wellbeing and elevate concerns as needed.
  • Prepare, label and package blood samples for laboratory collection.
  • Deliver a professional, participant-centred service with reassurance and support.
  • Support mobile clinics by assisting with participant flow and administrative tasks.
  • Adhere to infection prevention, health and safety, and clinical governance standards.
  • Report incidents and contribute to quality improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with the wider clinical team to deliver a safe and efficient service.
