Job description

A vacancy has arisen within the Facilities Team for a full-time Band 3 receptionist/administrator, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, fixed term for 6 months.

The post is based at Hathaway Surgery, Chippenham, with requirements to cover other sites, especially in later months. These include Shearwater Lodge, Warminster, and Bath NHS House, Bath. Full on-the-job training will be provided.

The post holder must have excellent interpersonal skills, both face-to-face and on the telephone, attention to detail, high accuracy, and be fully competent in Microsoft Office.

You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritise workload, and meet targets and deadlines.

Role

This role requires flexibility to provide administrative cover within the wider FM team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Front of house reception, engaging with visitors and service users.
  • Handling telephone enquiries and operating an electronic room booking system.
  • Providing administrative support, such as inputting data into spreadsheets and collating statistics.
  • Other tasks delegated by the Facilities Manager, BSW, or Site Co-ordinator.

This position suits someone who enjoys variety and can manage independent tasks supporting the FM team.

This is a 37.5-hour fixed-term contract, hours Monday to Friday, 9-5.
