The Role at a Glance

• Position:Healthcare Assistant
• Pay Rate:Competitive 15 to 18 per hour
• Schedule:Flexible 24-hour shift patterns
• Location:Carleton Clinic hospital, Carlisle CA1 3SX

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

• Providing outstanding, patient-centered care.
• Supporting the nursing staff and wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintaining precise and confidential patient records.
• Assisting with medication administration under the direction of qualified staff.
• Upholding the highest professional standards and Trust policies.

What We're Looking For (Requirements)

• Essential:Prior experience in the UK working with individuals facing mental health challenges.
• Essential:A strong understanding of mental health conditions and best practices.
• Essential:A deep sense of compassion and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
• Bonus:A Care Certificate
• Mandatory:For the safety of our patients and staff, BCG, MMR, and Hepatitis B vaccinations are required for this position.
• Mandatory: 6 months of Healthcare Assistant (HCA) experience within the NHS or Private Hospital
