Qualifications

• Solid general histology background.
• Hands-on knowledge of immunohistochemistry.
• Experience with histology automation is desirable.
• Familiar with UKAS accreditation and HTA/MHRA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations and technical aspects of the service.
• Support the Specialist BMS and Senior BMS to deliver a high-quality service through the QMS.
• Implement changes as directed by laboratory seniors/manager.
• Contribute to training and development of scientific and support staff.
• Ensure service compliance with UKAS standards and relevant legislation.
