Job summary

Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is seeking Bank Housekeepers to join our Hotel Services team in Bath. You will provide cleaning across wards and departments and assist with patient meals and beverages, supporting nursing staff to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.

Shifts are arranged as availability allows, with patterns 07:00-13:30 or 10:00-18:30, Monday to Sunday. The role requires a flexible attitude to meet ward needs and patient care priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or hospital cleaning is useful.
• Ability to assist with preparing and presenting meals and beverages.

Job overview

The successful post holder will provide a catering and cleaning service for our Service Users, Staff and Visitors across our Wards and Departments.

You will be working as part of an established Team who provide a full Hotel Services function.

This role is advertised as a bank role. Shifts will be agreed as and when there is availability for both parties. Shift patterns are 07.00 - 13.30 &/or 10.00 - 18.30, Monday to Sunday.

Main duties of the job

Housekeepers support the Nursing Staff to provide an appropriate environment for patient care. Duties will include general cleaning of all Ward/Departmental areas and the preparation and presentation and service of patient meals and and beverages.

Housekeepers will be expected to demonstrate a flexible attitude to their work to meet the needs of the Ward and the Patients.
