Job summary

CK International is seeking a Design Engineer in Dungannon to drive multiple projects from concept to delivery. You will design bespoke baling machinery, including hydraulic and electrical systems, and work with autonomy across geographically spread projects.

You will create initial concepts, evolve designs, produce detailed drawings, amend with customer changes, and liaise with manufacturing to meet schedules. Travel to sites for installations is required.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a heavy engineering design role.
• Proficient in 2D/3D modelling using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Develop initial concept drawings/models for customers.
• Evolve designs into detailed mechanical, hydraulic and electrical features.
• Create detailed drawings for manufacture and BOMs.
• Amend designs for bespoke customer changes.
• Manage customer queries through the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to meet schedules.
• Maintain technical specs and user documentation.
• Travel to sites to oversee installations and commissioning.
• Assist aftersales with troubleshooting hydraulic/mechanical/electrical issues.
