Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Design Engineer in Belfast/Mallusk to develop CAD drawings for control panels and BMS projects. You will design panel layouts and schematics and work closely with project teams to progress concepts through to manufacture and installation.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and specs.

Build a long-term career as a Design Engineer with a well-established BMS and controls company where you'll have the opportunity to progress and t develop your technical skills.You'll work alongside experienced Project Engineers and Project Managers, giving you plenty of support while taking ownership of your designs and seeing projects progress from concept through to manufacture and installation.

The Role:

• Producing detailed CAD drawings for control panels and BMS projects
• Designing control panel layouts and electrical/control schematics
• Working closely with Project Engineers and Project Managers
• Developing designs based on customer requirements and project specifications
• Making design amendments and revisions where required
• Preparing drawings for manufacture
• Ensuring designs meet project requirements and technical standards
• Liaising with engineers throughout the project lifecycle
• Supporting multiple projects at different stages

The Person:

• Previous CAD Design, CAD Engineer or CAD Technician experience
• Experience within engineering, electrical, mechanical, BMS or controls environments
• Confident using CAD software
• Able to understand technical drawings and engineering specifications
• Electrical or Building Services knowledge advantageous but not essential
