DELI LITES IRELAND is seeking a Bakery Team Member to join our Warrenpoint site. You will contribute to all bakery manufacturing activities, from preparation to production of a variety of products, while upholding quality, hygiene and food safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support preparation and production of bakery goods.
• Handle raw materials and ingredients (flour, oil, sugar, yeast, water).
• Bake doughs and mixtures according to production recipes.
• Assist with decoration of bakery products when needed.
• Verify deliveries and keep accurate documentation.
• Assist with inventory management and stock counts.
• Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards.
• Keep work areas clean and follow CLEAN AS YOU GO practices.

The Role:

As Bakery Team Member you will contribute to all bakery manufacturing activities, including the preparation and production of a variety of bakery products in line with company standards. You will play an important role in ensuring products are produced efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety.

Your Duties:

• Support the preparation and production of bakery products in line with company specifications and timeframes
• Process and handle raw materials and ingredients (e.g. flour, oil, sugar, yeast, water)
• Prepare and bake doughs and mixtures according to production recipes under supervision
• Support decoration of bakery products where required
• Check delivery schedules and ensure documentation is accurate
• Receive deliveries and verify goods against orders (weight, quantity, and quality)
• Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and internal ordering
• Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction through quality output
• Manage waste, spillage, and stock turnover effectively
• Clean and maintain machinery and equipment used in bakery production
• Package and label products accurately
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation
• Keep work areas clean and follow CLEAN AS YOU GO practices
• Carry out any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by your Line Manager
