Job summary

Sourdough Sophia in the United Kingdom is seeking a Production Operations Manager to build the systems and the team that let us scale, while keeping our production calm, safe and brilliant. You’ll lead the shift from the line, coaching our senior bakers and pastry chefs, and you’ll develop SOPs, routines and the production schedule to turn new products into everyday output.

You’ll own food safety and compliance, track yield, waste and cost per unit, and drive improvement projects to keep

• Experience leading bakery/food production operations.
• Ability to develop SOPs and scalable processes.
• Strong focus on yield, waste, and cost per unit.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift from the line, coaching senior bakers and pastry chefs.
• Develop SOPs and routines to enable scaling and new product introduction.
• Run production schedule, rotas and logistics from packing to delivery.
• Own food safety and compliance; track yield, waste and cost per unit.
• Lead improvement projects to keep standards consistent across sites and wholesale.
