Job summary

Lesaffre Iberica SA is seeking a bakery process specialist to support NPD/EPD projects, run baking trials, and report findings. The role involves defining equipment needs and maintaining test protocols while aligning with the Lesaffre UK & Ireland strategy.

You will train internal colleagues and external partners on bakery processes, yeasts and ingredients, and stay informed on market trends and competition.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in NPD and EPD projects
• Carrying out the baking trials and reporting
• Taking careofbakeryequipmentand determination of the needs
• Creating & updating of the test protocols
• Providing technical support to customer requirements in line with the Lesaffre UK & Ireland commercial strategythrough bakery processadvice
• Participation in trade fairs and customer events
• Train and lead technical training for internal staff and external partners/customers for the Lesaffre expertise in bakery processes, yeasts, sourdough, ingredients and mixes
• Staying up to date on market trends, and movements: customers, competition, products
