Job summary

Gregory Distribution is seeking a Class 2 Driver to deliver bakery products across the South of England. You will operate a rigid tail lift vehicle, load and secure goods, and maintain high levels of customer service at each delivery point.

The role requires a UK Class 2 C Licence, DCPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Driver Card, with flexibility for early starts and weekend work. Compensation includes £15.78/hour with a £7.50 night-shift premium and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• UK Class 2 C Licence is required.
• Current DCPC Card is required.
• Digital Tachograph Driver Card is required.
• Good geographical knowledge and route awareness are essential.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bakery products to retailers, wholesale and convenience stores across the South of England.
• Provide high level customer service at delivery points and manage delivery expectations.
• Safely operate tail-lift, assist with manual handling of deliveries, and ensure proper loading and securing of goods.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain communication with the transport team and participate in regular training.
• Be flexible with early starts and weekends as part of a 25-week rolling rota.
• Work as part of a team or independently with a positive attitude.
