Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a bakery counter team member who can help with fresh bakery products, maintain displays, and deliver friendly service. You will prepare a range of breads, doughnuts, and pastries and support customers with their needs in a busy store environment.

Ideal candidates enjoy a fast-paced setting, show initiative, and work across fresh counters to assist customers. This role offers flexible shifts and a friendly team culture at Morrisons.

Qualifications

• Friendly and supportive; loves meeting customers.

• Maintains high Health & Safety standards while using bakery equipment.
• Competent baker skills: mix and mould dough for bakery products.
• Willing to work flexibly across other fresh counters to cater for customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer confidence in availability of fresh bakery products
• Maintain quality, fresh displays of food throughout the trading day to promote sales
• Prepare bakery products for sale to company specification using appropriate equipment (prover, oven, mixer)
• Deliver outstanding, friendly and helpful service, resolving customer queries and creating moments that matter for customers
