Join Felt Bakery as we launch our first London location, inspired by Tokyo's Higurashi Bakery. We seek an experienced baker proficient in both Japanese and European styles, ready to prepare a variety of handmade breads and manage section operations.

Job description

WORKING HOURS: 4:00–13:00 (40 hours / 5 days a week).
Location: London.
SALARY: £30-36k (depending on experience).
START: ASAP.
Main Responsibilities:

1. Prepare a wide variety of Japanese and European bakery goods, including shokupan, melon pan, curry bread, croissants, sourdoughs, and baguettes.
2. Manage the day-to-day operations of the bread section.
3. Support production development.

Ideal Candidate:

1. 3+ years of experience in baking bread at a bakery.
2. Experience or strong interest in East Asian baking methods, especially Japanese-style bread such as shokupan, melon pan, and curry bread, is desirable.
3. Able to commit to flexible work patterns, including early morning shifts and weekends.
4. Team player.
