Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for experienced Bagging Operators/FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join a busy operation based in Billingham. Immediate starts available and training will be provided.

This role involves working on the bagging line and operating a CB forklift safely. Applicants must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and a full UK driving licence, with at least 12 months FLT experience, and be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Previous FLT operating experience (essential, minimum 12 months).
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Work on the bagging line and bag products.
• Move stock around warehouse and storage areas; heavy lifting may be involved.
• Load and unload wagons using an FLT (CB).
• Secure customers' products in the yard against weather exposure.
• Follow site health and safety procedures and ensure general housekeeping.

Job description

Monday to Friday, 8am till 4pm- £13.75 per hour

4 on 4 off shifts after training:

2 days (06:30-18:30), 2 nights (18:30-06:30)- £14.51 per hour

We are currently recruiting for experienced

Bagging Operators/FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join a busy operation based in Billingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking candidate looking for ongoing work with immediate starts available. Please note this is not a strictly FLT role.

Please note: A Drug & Alcohol test is required for this role.

The Role

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Working on the bagging line (filling bags with products), bagging and tying of the products
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse and storage areas, can involve heavy lifting
• Loading and unloading wagons using an FLT Truck (CB)
• Securing customers products in the yard (protecting from the elements)
• Following all site health and safety procedures and general housekeeping

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
• Full UK driver's licence (essential)
• Previous FLT operating experience (essential, minimum 12 months)
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Ability to work rotating shift patterns
• Available to start as soon as possible
• Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
