Job summary

Global Highland is seeking a Depot Supervisor – Backshift to join our Operations team in Scotland. This role oversees the afternoon and evening transport operation, ensuring depot and fleet readiness for the next day, while maintaining regulatory compliance and high service standards.

The successful candidate will support the Depot Manager with data analysis, driver performance reporting and administrative tasks, and provide holiday cover as required.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification/card.
• ADR qualification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee afternoon and evening transport operation and ensure depot readiness.
• Identify and record vehicle defects before vehicles are parked.
• Review deliveries for delays and take action to resolve.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork and compliance checks.
• Provide driver performance data and operational intelligence for planning.
