Job summary

Marks & Spencer is recruiting a Customer Assistant in Operations to support stock, deliveries and the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our store running smoothly. It’s a busy, physically demanding role that requires focus, speed and accuracy.

You will work across store areas as needed, staying ahead of stock flow and assisting customers where appropriate. Digital tools will be used to track deliveries and stock, and teamwork is essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older due to health and safety regulations.
• Retail experience or a willingness to learn fast in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock, deliveries and behind-the-scenes tasks to keep the shop floor stocked, clean and ready for customers.
• Move products with urgency and accuracy to ensure smooth flow of stock.
• Use digital tools to track deliveries and stock across the store.
• Work flexibly across the wider store and collaborate with colleagues in different areas.
