Job summary

Symphony is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to deliver best-in-class software for enterprise customers. You will build and maintain test infrastructure, automate client and server tests, and collaborate with engineers across time zones.

You will design a multi-cloud test framework (AWS and GCP), convert manual tests to automation, drive CI/CD integration, and ensure QA sign-off and release coordination across multiple products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QE automation experience for backend, API and platform level tests.
• Strong customer advocacy and passion for automation.
• Experience designing and supporting test automation frameworks for React TS or JavaScript web apps.
• Proficient in one or more scripting languages: Java, TypeScript, Groovy.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Test Automation framework for a complex multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS and GCP) for large enterprise customers.
• Troubleshoot, stabilize and optimize the various day-to-day existing QE automation jobs.
• Continuously drive to convert any manual test cases to be part of the Test automation framework.
• Define best practices to implement and maintain, build, and support Test automation framework.
• Estimate test efforts, analyze test results and communicate to the stakeholders.
• Integrating your work in a fully automated CI/CD pipeline.
• Responsible for quality of multiple products coming out of the organization, including their QA Sign-Off and releasing coordination.
