Job summary
Genomics England is seeking a Backend Python Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend services, REST APIs and cloud native applications on AWS. You will work on the URD service within the National Genomic Research Library, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable platforms at national scale.
You will contribute to relational databases, identity management integrations (Okta/IdPs), test automation, and CI/CD using GitLab, Confluence and Jira.
Qualifications
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
