Job summary

Wise is hiring for a role within the Product Eligibility team to build and scale the platform supporting Transfer, Payout and Partner Integrations. You will help determine product eligibility and what customers can access, while shaping a robust, scalable backend used across Wise London and beyond.

You will work in an autonomous team, collaborating with product managers and engineers to deliver domain-level solutions, improve APIs, and optimise data models.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Years of Java 8+ knowledge.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, query optimisation and designing schemas.
• Strong product mindset focused on customer experience; data-driven decisions.
• Collaborative, able to bring people together to solve problems.
• Experience designing, deploying and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Follow best coding practices, code reviews and open feedback.
• Enjoy writing testable code; belief in Test Driven Development.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical vision for the owned domain and contribute to the platform.
• Scale the transfer product with back-office tooling and customer flows.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers across London and Cherkasy.
