Job summary

Acorn Group is seeking a Backend Developer to build and maintain backend services using C#/.NET 8.0 with Azure, in a hybrid Liverpool setup.

You’ll design APIs, manage data solutions, and deploy with Docker on Azure, collaborating with product and design teams to turn ideas into features. You’ll grow through code reviews and shared learning while contributing to robust software delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience building applications in C# and .NET.
• Understanding APIs, SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Familiarity with Azure and Docker.
• Interest in learning testing and CI/CD best practices.
• Collaborative mindset and eagerness to grow as a developer.
• Pride in writing clean, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using .NET 8.0 and Azure.
