Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on Java programming concepts.
• Recent hands-on experience as a back-end engineer in an agile environment.
• Experience with a JVM language (Java/Scala/Kotlin).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web technologies.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Experience across the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to work in a distributed team.
• Strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end cloud-native microservices.
• Design and estimate costs for technical solutions in Java/Kotlin.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Support products through their life cycle, including incident management.
• Leverages AI-assisted coding tools to improve quality and speed; peer review and secure coding standards.
• Apply SDLC tooling to improve automation and value.
