nsave, a London-headquartered fintech, is seeking a Backend Engineer to build and scale the infrastructure powering its financial services across multiple jurisdictions.

You will own backend subsystems, work with the CTO, focus on architecture, reliability, security and compliance integrations, serving tens of thousands of users. This contractor role offers independence in a fast-moving, founder-led environment.

Qualifikationen

• Strong engineering fundamentals and clean architecture.
• Broad platform knowledge across backend systems, databases, and CI/CD.
• Security-minded design for financial services.
• Experience in startups, fintech, or regulated environments preferred.

• Design, implement, and own critical infrastructure including service architecture and release pipelines.
• Proactively improve system health by tooling and code optimizations.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to ship features across markets.
