Job summary

Dex partner role: join a lean backend team building an AI operating system for enterprise IT. You will own core backend platform components, scale batch job infrastructure, and engineer the LLM gateway with robust auth and observability defaults.

You’ll ship with a focus on reliability and multi-tenant security. This on-site role in London requires 3+ years of backend experience and a track record of end-to-end ownership, from MVP to scale-up, delivering high-impact infrastructure solutions

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience with ownership over platform components.
• Proven experience designing distributed systems including queueing and batch processing.
• Familiarity with LLM infrastructure at scale (token routing, failover, real-time vs async).

Responsibilities

• Design and build core backend platform components to enable rapid shipping.
• Develop and scale batch job infrastructure for large data volumes.
• Engineer the LLM gateway with token throughput and provider failover management.
• Establish robust auth and observability defaults for enterprise reliability and security.
• Build internal tooling and APIs to accelerate product development and team velocity.
