Job summary

Daylesford Farm Shop, part of Bamford Collection, is hiring a Back of House Retail Team Member to help run the shop smoothly behind the scenes. In this 32‑hour week, you’ll manage stock, unpack deliveries, rotate stock, and support the shop floor on a rota of early shifts (06:30‑15:00 and 12:00‑20:30).

You’ll keep displays tidy, maintain safety and cleanliness, and drive a positive, conscious shopping experience in line with our sustainability values.

Qualifications

• Receive and unpack stock accurately and place in correct locations.
• Rotate stock regularly to maintain safety and freshness.
• Merchandise products to standards and keep displays tidy.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop and warehouse environment.

EARNINGS: £12.89 per hour + TRONC, paid weekly.
HOURS: 32 hours per week, working 06:30-15:00 and 12:00-20:30 on a rota basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Back of House Retail Team Member to join our fantastic Farm Shop team.

In this vital role, you’ll help keep our shop running smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes. From managing and organising stock to supporting the shop floor, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our customers enjoy a seamless shopping experience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and unpack stock accurately, ensuring items are placed in the correct warehouse locations

• Rotate stock regularly to maintain compliance with food safety protocols

• Merchandise products in the farm shop according to visual standards, ensuring displays are tidy and appealing

• Keep the shop clean, organized, and presentable at all times

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment throughout the warehouse and shop

• Bring our purpose to life by driving meaningful social and environmental improvements, contributing to our journey as a B Corp, and aligning with our sustainability vision.

• Inspire and empower our customers, suppliers, and partners to live and work more consciously, creating a lasting positive impact on the world.

SKILLS & EXPERTISE

• Ensure accurate stock handling, placement, and rotation in line with safety protocols

• Always come with a energetic and hardworking mindset and a strong willingness to learn and grow within your role

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and maintain clear communication

• Capable of performing manual handling tasks and standing for extended periods
