Slim Chickens East Midlands Shopping Centre is seeking a Back of House Team Member to join our kitchen in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. You will help prepare and cook menu items to our high standards and contribute to a clean, efficient kitchen.

We value teamwork and flexibility, with shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Past kitchen experience is welcome but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking menu items to perfection, ensuring high standards.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
• Following food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, and ingredient freshness.
• Working as part of a team to ensure accurate orders and on-time delivery.
• Handling kitchen equipment safely and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Supporting the kitchen team with various tasks for smooth operations.
• Contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment.
