Slim Chickens in Trafford Centre is looking for a Back of House Team Member to help prepare and cook menu items to our high standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

Join a friendly, supportive team with flexible shifts and opportunities to develop cooking skills, ensure food safety, and contribute to a positive guest experience.

No previous kitchen experience required, but enthusiasm and a "can-do" attitude are essential as you learn with us.

Qualifications

• A passion for cooking and delivering quality food.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but willingness to learn is essential.

• Preparing and cooking menu items to perfection, ensuring high standards.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.
• Following food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Working as part of a team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Handling kitchen equipment safely and reporting maintenance needs.
• Supporting the kitchen team with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
